Burnet is centrally located in the Texas Hill Country and close to a number of attractions. Within less than a half hour, you go to:

There are fishing guides, boat, skidoo and other watercraft rentals, swimming etc. at most of these.
The fishing is pretty good. in all the local lakes and rivers – with catches of Catfish, Stripers, Hybrid Stripers, White Bass, Guadalupe Bass, Sand Bass, Crappie, Perch and more.
A number of city parks are available for you to enjoy.
Golf courses are nearby.
Antiquing is very popular in the area as well.
We have music venues, theaters, movies, big box stores and many good restaurants in the area. The BBQ is hard to beat also!
Be sure to check out the Vanishing Texas River Cruise and maybe see some bald eagles – and visit the Canyon of the Eagles resort and eco park on Lake Buchanan. Both are not to be missed!
